Special Prize Young Hope 2008 Sacred Music Int. Competition
Mezzo-Soprano Ilaria Ribezzi was born on 1986 in a little town of South Italy. She start to study piano before to start to sing. She completed her Music Degree at the Music Institute of Taranto. Moving to Milan she studied with Bianca Maria Casoni and during the 2009 at the Academia del Teatro alla Scala.
Since 2007 Mezzo-soprano soloist for the Quartet "Antiquocanto", with many concerts focusing on Italian and European Renaissance repertoire,
In the 2008 she won the Special Prize "Young Hope" at the 2008 Sacred Music Int.l Competition and consequentially she became member of the vocal-instrumental modular Ensemble "I Virtuosi della Musica Sacra".
As one of the most promising young Italian voice she's specializing and debutted in several soloistic sacred music roles
During 2009 she performed as Alto Solo in the Messiah" by Händel at the Teatro delle Muse in Ancona, in the "Nelsonmesse" by Haydn (Missa in Angustiis) in Milan and Brescia; in the"Paukenmesse" (Missa in Tempore Belli) by Haydn at the Teatro Nuovo of Udine and at the Theater Municipal Chiabrera (Savona) Conducted by M ° Filippo Maria Bressan and in the Mozart's Requiem in the season Ghislierimusica Conducted by Carlo De Martini.
During 2008: she sang the Vivaldi's Magnificat, the"Oratorio de Noel" by Saint-Saens and the Liszt's "Via Crucis" in several concerts promoted by the Province of Lecce and Brindisi directed by M° Andrea Crastolla.
